2010 St. Thomas Ecumenical Clergy Fellowship of NY at Diocesan Center
On Tuesday, September 14, The St. Thomas Ecumenical Clergy Fellowship of New York had their gathering at the Diocesan Center & Metropolitans' Residence of the Northeast American Diocese.
The evening began with canonical prayers of the Orthodox Church in the St. Thomas Diocesan Chapel, followed by guided tours throughout the Diocesan Center. Their Graces Mathews Mar Barnabas and Zachariah Mar Nicholovos, the hosts Metropolitans, offered their prayerful welcome to the clergy and their families to newly constructed center of the Diocese. A delightful dinner was served on the occasion as well. The guest speaker for the fellowship, His Grace Alexios Mar Eusebius, Metropolitan of the South-West American Diocese, offered a powerful devotional on the role of the pastor/priest.
The leaders from the various Indian Christian denominations offered their gratitude to the Metropolitans for their kindness in hosting the fellowship, and congratulated the Diocese on a beautiful new center.
