#GivingTuesday in Support of Seminarians & HTRC
This year, the Northeast American Diocese will be participating in #GivingTuesday on December 1st, to support the ministry of Holy Transfiguration Retreat Center. As the world seeks to support nonprofit organizations and other worthy causes, will you support the important ministry and mission of Holy Transfiguration Retreat Center?
The vision for this sacred place includes strengthening this spiritual home for many of the diverse ministries of our Diocese, the establishment of a theological seminary for the Malankara Church in the western hemisphere, and initiation of a monastic community to transfigure the church in North America.
Our Diocese hopes for the #GivingTuesday campaign to benefit both the present and future of our Church in North America. We are excited to also share the Diocese will set aside 10% of the funds raised on Giving Tuesday, December 1st, in supporting the theological education of our seminarians studying for the Northeast American Diocese. We must continue to send people to seminary with proper financial support as they are theologically and pastorally formed to serve the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church and her people.
Will you support this essential ministry of our Church in North America — to ensure the faith and witness of Saint Thomas continues in this land? This work to transform the lives of our faithful, especially the youth—is not possible without the generosity of givers like you. You are essential in ensuring the present and future generations of our Church can thrive, and be strengthened.
