Philadelphia Area MGOCSM Elections on Oct 29th, 2010

Very Reverend Fathers, Reverend Fathers, Deacons,

Greetings to the Members of the Philadelphia Area MGOCSM;

Considering that it is already October, we are required to elect our area council representative, as well as secretary and treasurer. Our soon to be appointed General Secretary, Dn. Vijay Thomas, has requested this be done as soon as possible. We request that all youth of the Philadelphia area be in attendance for this election.

The support and guidance of our beloved Achens throughout the past two years cannot be overlooked. As an area we are blessed to have Achens who guide us and support us in all our needs. On behalf of our Metropolitian Bishops, we thank you for everything that you have done for this area. Further, we know that you will continue to support us in the coming two years, especially this coming election.

Since the notice is late, we are inclined to place the election on October 29th, 2010 at St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church, Unruh. It will be coupled with the already planned Bible Fellowship, which will be led by Jiji Mathew. ("Mythbusters"). After wards, Rev. Dn. Gheevarghese John will run the elections.

We request that all of you make a earnest attempt to come out support your MGOCSM.

Details are below,

  • 6:45pm: Prayer and Hymns
  • 7:00pm: Mythbuster Presentation Part II by Mr. Jiji Mathew
  • 7:45pm: Group Discussion & Presentation
  • 8:00pm: Elections
  • 8:30pm: Fellowship/Food/Departure
