Memory of Metropolitan Dr. Thomas Mar Makarios

It has been two years since the passing of His Grace, Metropolitan Dr. Thomas Mar Makarios. His Grace served as the first Metropolitan of the Bombay and American Dioceses. While on his archpastoral visit to his Diocese in the United Kingdom, Thirumeni was met with a terrible car accident which resulted in his passing.

On the second year since his passing, His Grace Metropolitan Mathews Mar Barnabas offered prayers of incense for his predecessor, in the St. Thomas Diocesan Chapel. The members of the Holy Synod also offered prayers of incense for the departed hierarch, where his mortal remains are entombed at the Catholicate Palace. His Holiness the Catholicos, led these prayers, assisted by His Beatitude Mar Milithios and Their Graces, Zachariah Mar Nicholovos and Alexios Mar Eusebius.

May the memory of Metropolitan Dr. Thomas Mar Makarios be eternal!
