Diocese to be represented at Memorial Service for Pope Shenouda III
Rev. Fr. Paulose T. Peter, Director for Ecumenical Relations, will be
representing our Diocese, at an official memorial service which will
be held under the auspices of the Coptic Orthodox Archdiocese of North
America for Pope Shenouda III, at St. Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church of
East Brunswick, New Jersey.
Fr. Paulose will read the letter of condolence from His Grace Zachariah Mar Nicholovos, which was sent to His Grace Bishop David,
General Bishop & Patriarchal Exarch of the Coptic Orthodox Archdiocese
of North America, after the passing of His Holiness Pope Shenouda III.
Fr. Paulose will also read the resolution passed at the Diocesan
Clergy Retreat, of our unwavering love and support for our sister
Church.
The clergy and faithful of our Diocese are encouraged to participate
and show our solidarity with our brothers and sisters of the Coptic
Church at this memorial service which will be held on Sunday, March
25, 2012 at 3PM.
