Planning for Northeast American Diocesan Family and Youth Conference is progressing.

REGISTRATION

The Northeast American Diocese Family and Youth Conference will be held from July 11-14 th at Honors Haven Resort and Spa, Elenville NY. (please see pictures on our conference site)

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS AND SUPER SESSIONS

Curriculum Team has been working hard to ensure that the Conference is an educational and spiritual experience. Our distinguished Keynote speaker Mrs. Elizabeth Joy has been selected as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) at King's College London to teach in the Department of Systematic Theology.

The following super sessions are scheduled

  • Hermeneutics 101: Preparing for a Sermon : led by Rev. Fr. John Thomas Karringatil, Professor of Communications, Orthodox Theological Seminary, Kottayam
  • Latin and Protestant Influences in our Church. Led by Rev. Fr. Dr. George Koshy
  • Marriage : Art of Conflict Resolution : led by Rev. Fr. Dr. Varghese M. Daniel
  • Liturgical Music Workshop: led by Rev. Fr. Aju Philip Mathews & Mr. Tenny Thomas
  • Apocalypse in the Orthodox Tradition: Reflection on current end of world movements and Orthodox response.

CHOIR

A melodious choir is an inseparable part of our conference. Rev. Fr. Thomas Paul is coordinating the choir this year. If you are interested in singing in this year’s choir please contact Rev. Fr. Thomas Paul at 718-470-9844 (Ext. 3).

ENTERTAINMENT NIGHT
