2012 Annual MGOCSM Brooklyn / Queens / Long Island Area Back to School Conference

The MGOCSM of the Brooklyn / Queens / Long Island Area proudly presents our Annual Back to School Conference!

There comes a time in our lives where we are asked - "Why are you a Christian?, "You believe in a God? "Does He even exist?", "How can you prove it?", "Where is this God of yours?" "Are you praying to God or just a wall in your room?" "If God is real, why is there suffering?" etc. We are asked these questions and more....but what is our response? Can we give one adequately? If not, want to learn ho w you can?

Join us on Saturday, September 15th, to learn about how we can properly defend our faith! Our theme verse is derived from 1 Peter 3:15 - "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear". The guest speaker for the event is Rev. Fr. Alexander (James) Kurien from Baltimore, Maryland, who will help navigate our way through these tough questions often aimed at us, and more!

It will be held at St. Mary's Orthodox Church - 38 Cherry Avenue West Sayville, NY and it will take place from 11am - 7pm. Registration is only $10.00!
