Hygiene Kits project by Holy Cross Mission on Saturday, September 13, 2014

In conjunction with the 7th Anniversary and Feast Day celebrations, Holy Cross Mission is partnering with Church World Service to create Hygiene Kits for those in need. The organizing of these kits will take place on Saturday, September 13th following the Anniversary Celebrations of the Mission.

The Holy Cross Committee will be purchasing the items for the Hygiene kits in order to follow the specific instructions provided by CWS. We would like to make at least 100 kits and request the prayerful participation with prayers and donations of those interested. Anyone who would like to make a donation, please contact one of the office bearers below.

Each kit will include:

  • ONE- Hand Towel measuring approx 16”by28” (no fingertip or bath towels) 
  • ONE-Washcloth 
  • ONE-Wide tooth comb 
  • ONE- Nail Clipper ONE- Bar of soap (bath size in wrapper) 
  • ONE- Toothbrush (in original package) 
  • SIX- standard size Band-Aides 
  • 100 (or so) Zip Lock Bags to place these items in

We earnestly request your prayers and presence for the 7th Anniversary & Feast Day Celebrations of Holy Cross Mission on Saturday, September 13th. Evening prayers will begin at 5:30 pm and Rev. Fr. Aju Philip Mathews will be the main celebrant.
