Consecration of St. Gregorios Orthodox Church of Queens, NY

The Consecration of the newly renovated St. Gregorios Orthodox Church of Queens, NY will take place on Friday, June 25 and Saturday, June 26. The Rite of Consecration will be led by His Beatitude Paulose Mar Milithios, Catholicos Designate, in the presence of Diocesan Metropolitan, His Grace Mathews Mar Barnabas.

Their Graces, Zachariah Mar Nicholovos, Assistant Metropolian of the Northeast American Diocese, Dr. Mathews Mar Severios, Metropolitan of the Kandanad Diocese, Alexios Mar Eusebius, Metropolitan of the South-West American Diocese will also be present.

The following is the schedule of the Consecration Service:

Friday, June 18

  • 6:00PM - Reception to the Metropolitans
  • 6:30PM - Vespers & Compline
  • 7:00PM - Consecration Service - 1st Part
  • 7:30PM - Dinner

Saturday, June 19

  • 7:00AM - Matins
  • 7:30AM - Consecration Service - 2nd Part, followed by Holy Qurbana
  • 12:30PM - Public Meeting
  • 1:00PM - Luncheon
