St. Mary's Orthodox Church of Staten Island, NY consecrated

St. Mary's Orthodox Church of Staten Island, NY was consecrated on Friday, June 18 and Saturday, June 19.  The rite of consecration was led by His Beatitude Paulose Mar Milithios in the presence of the Diocesan Metropolitan, His Grace Mathews Mar Barnabas.  Their Graces Zachariah Mar Nicholovos, Dr. Mathews Mar Severios, and Alexios Mar Eusebius were also present.  

His Eminence Archbishop Khajag Barsamian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of America was present on Friday evening, and His Eminence Archbishop Yeghishe Gizirian, former Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Great Britain on Saturday morning. 

Rev. Fr. T. A. Thomas, Vicar of the parish, offered his heartfelt appreciation and thanks to the Hierarchs, priests, deacons, seminarians, and faithful who attended.  Please click here for pictures.
