Transition to New Diocesan Center Begins

On Monday, August 16, 2010, more than 20 youth from the Bronx, Westchester, Queens, and Long Island areas helped begin the transition from the old Diocesan Center in Bellerose, New York, to the newly constructed Center in Muttontown, New York.

The young members of the Diocese were excited and joyful at the sight of the new Aramana.  The Metropolitans offered their paternal love and  blessings for the services they rendered to the Diocese by assisting in phase 1 of the transition process.

Youth from St. Mary's Orthodox Church, Bronx, New York, St. Stephens Orthodox Church, Long Island, New York, St. Thomas Orthodox Church, Long Island, New York, and St. Baselios Orthodox Church, Woodside, New York assisted in the move.  The Diocese anticipates the move to the new Aramana to be complete by Saturday, September 4, 2010 just in time for the Open House.
