St. George Malankara Orthodox Church of Fairless Hills, PA was established on November 2, 2013, per the Order of His Grace Zacharias Nicholovos, Metropolitan of the Northeast American Diocese.
Our parish was started by a vibrant community of 34 families made up of both
young and old immigrant couples from Kerala and the Gulf countries as well
as young couples born and brought up here in the United States. Within one
month's time we have already grown to almost 50 families.
We purchased about 3 acres of land in the beautiful suburbs of Bucks County
Pennsylvania between Philadelphia and Princeton, New Jersey. Our property has
over 2.5 acres of beautiful open green land with a children's playground and a large
paved parking lot. Our property allows our families to have a safe place to
Worship and have Fellowship and fun outdoor activities for our children and
The parish was organized by Rev. Fr. M. K. Kuriakose, and later His Grace, appointed Rev. Fr. Abu Varghese Peter as the first Vicar of this parish community.
Through the intercession of the Patron Saint of our Church, St. George the Martyr, our parish continues to grow, seeking to become a beacon of light, hope, and salvation to those in the surrounding community.
