St. Mary's Rockland Youth League Food Drive

St. Mary's Indian Orthodox Church of Rockland's Youth League is holding a Food Drive from now until May 22nd.

We recently learned that our neighboring church, Christ Episcopal Church of Ramapo had to turn away 12 families because their Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen is completely empty. To help them, we have decided to hold a Food Drive to collect and donate food items.

The Christ Episcopal Church of Ramapo Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen will accept any and all kinds of non-perishable goods, so there are no real restrictions on what you can donate and how much. If you are unable to donate food, the Food Pantry will also accept monetary donations. If you are interested in donating food or money, please know that your effort, time and generosity will be greatly appreciated by the Youth League, the Food Pantry, and especially those that your donations will help feed.

For those that are in the NY/NJ area, Binu Pappen (Youth League Representative) can come pick up donations from you, or can meet up somewhere that is convenient for you. Also, if there is anyone who is willing to spread the word and collect additional donations from friends, family, coworkers, that would be amazing and wonderfully kind.
