Orthodox Missions Conference: "Doin' Work: Liturgical Evangelism"
The first annual Orthodox Missions Conference will be held on February
11, 2012 from 9AM to 5PM at Archangel Michael and St. Mena Coptic
Orthodox Church 4095 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY.
There will be speakers from the Indian, Coptic, and Ethiopian Orthodox
churches! The day will be spent exploring what God is doing on the
local mission field in North America and how we can join Him! The
lectures and workshops will focus on "Doin' Work: Liturgical
Evangelism". There will be an opportunity to get involved in a number
of Orthodox Mission and Evangelism opportunities right where you are!

- 8:00 am – 10:00 am – Divine Liturgy (Coptic Orthodox)
- 10:00 am – 10:30 am – Registration and Breakfast (Have people begin
entering the main sanctuary at 10:45 am)
- 10:30am – 11:00am – Introduction / Welcome/ Icebreaker
- 11:00am – 12:00pm – Speaker 1
- 12:00pm – 1:00 pm – Group Discussion Session
- 1:00 pm – 2:00pm – LUNCH
- 2:00 pm – 3:00pm – Speaker 2
- 3:00 pm – 3:45pm – Group Discussion 2
- 3:45 pm – 4:45 pm – Speaker 3
- 4:45 pm – 5:00 pm – Closing prayer
