The Northeast American Diocese observes the 16th Dukhrono (Memorial) of our father in Christ, His Grace Dr. Thomas Mar Makarios, Metropolitan on Friday February 23, 2023.
Clergy and faithful who will be in Kerala, India on Sunday, February 25th are encouraged to participate in Divine Services which will be celebrated at the Catholicate Palace Aramana (Catholicos Residence), Devalokam, Kerala, India, where our beloved Makarios Thirumeni is entombed. Metropolitan Zachariah Mar Nicholovos will also be present for the memorial services.
The Church in North America must never forget the labors of our spiritual father. May the intercession of His Grace Dr. Thomas Mar Makarios, Metropolitan, preserves our Diocese, our clergy, and the faithful.
May the memory of our Makarios Thirumeni be eternal!
