The FOCUS Ministry of the Northeast American Diocese will be hosting a one day 'FOCUS on Marriage' conference on Saturday, November 16th. It will be held at St. Stephen's Orthodox Church of Midland Park, NJ from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
We are blessed to have Reverend Father Charles Joanides, Ph.D, a dynamic priest of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and a celebrated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist present on the theme: "Sacred Marriage - A Path to Salvation." There will also be seminars and couples workshops offered that day as well.
Here are some things that we hope to address at this conference:
- What does a successful marriage look like?
- What are the road blocks that can destroy a marriage?
- How do I know he/she is the right one for me?
- Can my spouse and I overcome this rough patch in our marriage?
- How can faith play a role in a healthy marriage?
