The Sunday School Association of our Diocese will conduct its General Assembly on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at our Saint John’s Orthodox Church of Orangeburg, New York from 9AM to 12PM. A detailed agenda and additional information will be communicated to all meeting participants. Each Sunday School unit is allotted two delegates for this meeting - the current principal and a Sunday school teacher proposed by the Vicar of the respective parishes. Please fill out the attached form and send it at the earliest. The continued prayers, support, and presence of our Vicars, Sunday School principals and designated delegates are anticipated.
Later that day, an OVBS Training Camp from 1PM to 4PM. The purpose of this camp is to introduce all OVBS materials for 2019, including curriculum and songs. The participation of all our Sunday School principals, teachers and anyone interested in teaching our beloved children at our local OVBS units, are requested.
