As Christians, we are called to honor and pray for those in authority, recognizing that all authority is ultimately under God’s control (Romans 13:1). Donald Trump's victory in this election is an opportunity for us to seek God’s wisdom, guidance, and strength for him as our leader, while also remembering that our ultimate hope is not in any political figure, but in Christ alone.
Let us also remember that true power and authority belong to God, and that no earthly leader or government can ultimately deliver what only God can provide: justice, mercy, and salvation (Psalm 146:3-5). As Christians, we are called to stand for truth, advocate for the marginalized, and live out the values of the Kingdom of God, regardless of the political climate.
In the days ahead, let us approach the future with prayerful hearts, seeking God’s will in all things.
