The MGOCSM of the Northeast American Diocese is excited to announce that we have been invited to present on our impactful initiatives to the Synod and Laity of the Anglican Church. With the blessing of our Diocesan Metropolitan, Rev. Dn. Shojil Abraham will represent the MGOCSM at the 2024 Synod & Missions Conference of the Anglican Diocese of the South in Birmingham, Alabama from November 7th to 9th, 2024. This year’s focus is on "Reaching Youth in the 21st Century.”
The MGOCSM presentation will illuminate youth ministry and invite community conversation grounded in faith. Moreover, the presentation will highlight the impactful initiatives of the MGOCSM during a post pandemic era and how these initiatives have fostered a rise in youth engagement in the life of the Orthodox Church. Additionally, Dn. Shojil will join a panel of esteemed youth leaders to address the challenges faced by young people today while exploring innovative ways to meet their needs.
