The Diocesan Assembly of the Northeast American Diocese gathered
together in St. Gregorios Orthodox Church of Bensalem, Pennsylvania on
Saturday, June 4, 2017.

The Assembly opened with prayer led by the Metropolitan and clergy.
After the opening prayer service, Rev. Fr. Abey George offered a brief
meditation on the Gospel of Saint Matthew.

One of the main items in the agenda was to elect the new Diocesan
Council for the term 2017 to 2022. On behalf of the Northeast American
Diocese, His Grace Zachariah Mar Nicholovos, recognized the dedication
and hard work of the outgoing Diocesan Council.

The Diocesan Assembly of the Northeast American Diocese, elected the
following individuals to the Diocesan Council for the term 2017 to
