Open House at Holy Transfiguration Retreat Center

 
On Monday, September 12th, Holy Transfiguration Retreat Center, a ministry of the Northeast American Diocese held an 'Open House' for the local community.  Various individuals, and organizations participated in the 'Reopening' of HTRC, and learned how Holy Transfiguration provides a perfect place to help re-energize their ministries, and organizations in this post COVID-19 era. 
 
Among the dignitaries to bless the occasion were His Eminence Archbishop Michael of the Diocese of New York & Jersey of the Orthodox Church in America and Rector of St. Tikhon's Orthodox Theological Seminary, His Excellency Bishop Joseph Bambera of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Scranton, Congressman Matthew Cartwright of Pennsylvania's 8th congressional district, District Attorney Joseph C. Peters, along with Dalton & Clark Summit Township officials.
 
Metropolitan Zachariah Mar Nicholovos, welcomed the gathering, the HTRC Executive Committee offered a presentation on the vision of HTRC and Gary Davis, the Program Coordinator of Holy Transfiguration Retreat Center spoke on how the mission of this special place is being fulfilled.
