Our Diocese will celebrate the sixth Dukhrono of our most beloved predecessor and father in Christ, His Grace Mathews Mar Barnabas, Metropolitan on Sunday, December 9th, 2018. As Vailya Thirumeni’s Dukhrono falls on a Sunday this year, our Diocese will not gather together as we usually do to celebrate Thirumeni’s memorial. Instead, all parishes of our Diocese are to observe the Dukhrono of our beloved Vailya Thirumeni on Sunday, December 9, 2018 with utmost piety and love.
Our clergy and faithful who will be in Kerala, India on December 9, 2018 are encouraged to participate in Divine Services which will be celebrated at Sts. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, Valayanchirangara, Kerala, India, where our beloved Vailya Thirumeni is entombed.
May our Diocese always remember, and never forget the labors of this spiritual giant. May the intercession of His Grace Mathews Mar Barnabas, Metropolitan preserve our Diocese, our clergy, and faithful. May the memory our Vailya Thirumeni be eternal!
