We are deeply saddened by the tragic shooting which took place at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Yesterday’s horrific event is another terrible example for the great need to address the epidemic of gun violence in our great nation. We condemn all acts of hatred, and violence in our communities. For those our brethren in Pittsburgh, and for all our Jewish sisters and brothers, we offer our solidarity during this hate-driven act.
May Emmanuel, grant comfort to the victims and their families. May the Lord strengthen the first responders, and may He comfort all of us who grieve in the darkness of this tragedy.
