The Feast of Theophany is known as the Feast of Light. The joy of this feast has been overshadowed by darkness, as violence has erupted in our nation’s capitol. We pray in the Anaphora of Saint Philoxenos “cause to cease, O Lord God, for your faithful people all wars of the visible and invisible enemies and gird them and us with peace and tranquility...”
Let us pray that the Lord, Who showed forth His Light upon all creation on the day of His manifestation, will offer the Light of His peace and reconciliation upon our nation.”
