The Marth Mariam Vanitha Samajam, the Women's Ministry of the Northeast American Diocese is joyfully celebrating its 40th year of ministry. Under the prayerful leadership of our Diocesan Metropolitan, His Grace Zachariah Mar Nicholovos, and the Vice President of this dynamic ministry, Reverend Father Eby Paulose, this ministry has decided to award over 40 scholarships to students from financially impoverished backgrounds. These scholarships will empower students who are already at the top of their class, with the necessary financial resources to excel in their academic studies.
The women of our Diocese have collectively raised over 4 million rupees to support this noble cause, which will support fifty students in various Dioceses of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. The number of students, and from which Diocese of the Church is indicated below.
Through the ministry of the Marth Mariam Vanitha Samajam, these young students are empowered to excel in their academic work, and not be limited in succeeding due to a lack of financial resources.
