The FOCUS Ministry of the Northeast American Diocese, is a ministry which caters to the spiritual needs of our young adults, and families.
Some of the objectives of the ministry include:

Empowerment for potential couples for a Christ centered marriage (FOCUS on Marriage)

Learning the tools on how to cultivate healthy relationships within families (FOCUS on Family)

Spiritual direction and guidance for a healthy Orthodox Christian lifestyle (FOCUS on Orthodox Christian living)

Continuous Education on the Faith and Practice of the Orthodox Church (FOCUS on Faith)

Serving the church and local communities for the transformation of the community at large (FOCUS on Service)
As this ministry moves forward into the future, we have been incorporating the various ideas, struggles, and challenges our young adults and young families have been experiencing. With the prayerful support of our clergy and faithful, and under the prayerful guidance of our beloved Metropolitan, we hope to institute pre-marital and post-marital conferences/seminars on an area, and Diocesan level. Furthermore, FOCUS hopes to empower young parents in how to be God fearing parents for their children, and teach them how to create/maintain a strong Orthodox Christian home.
