Marth Mariam Samajam Is the Women's Association of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. It is one of the major spiritual organizations of the Church which was founded in 1920 under the leadership of the Rev. Fr. M. C. Kuriakose Remban and K. M. Annamma of blessed memory.
The Northeast American Diocese has been organized into seven area comprising of 7-10 parishes in each area. Each area has an area coordinators to facilitate bible studies, seminars, conferences and retreat. Besides regional activities the central committee joins hands with regional coordinators and local parishes to help local charities in each region.
This ministry has three major events throughout the year: the annual Parents & Couples Conference, The Womens' Conference, and most recently the annual Women’s Camp at Holy Transfiguration Retreat Center.
