Holy Transfiguration Retreat Center will be hosting a Summer Camp for our Middle School students from Thursday, August 8 to Saturday, August 10, 2019. This camp for has been called “AGNI: Ablaze for the Lord.” The main speakers for this year’s camp are Reverend Father Shawn Thomas and Mrs. Lijin Thomas.
Students who are 10 to 14 years of age (as of August 9, 2018) are eligible to register for this camp. This Summer Camp will be staffed with Camp Counselors, including certified teachers with 1 counselor for every 5 students. This Camp is an opportunity for our young students to be immersed in the life of prayer, with opportunities for reflection, community living and meals, athletics, arts & crafts, and other fun social activities. By the Grace of God, last year this new ministry of our Diocese was a great success and enjoyed by all young participants.
Parents are encouraged to register their children for this wonderful opportunity on our center’s web site www.transfigurationretreat.org by July 31, 2019. The registration fee of $125 is to be made payable to the Northeast American Diocese.
