Diocese Institutes New Ministry

Talmeedo has been a unique ministry of the MGOCSM of our Diocese catering to the spiritual needs of our young men.  As this ministry has grown in strength, the Diocesan Metropolitan has decided to make Talmeedo Men’s Ministry, an independent ministry of our Diocese.  Talmeedo will seek to engage all men of our Diocese, between the ages of 17 and 55, through the sacred life of the Church.  Some goals of this ministry include:
  1. Host regular gatherings to foster relationships which draw them closer to Christ
  2. Create opportunities for mentorship with the next generation of men to understand their sacred role as a brother, father and son in the Orthodox Church
  3. To serve the community and help bear the crosses of those who are struggling in their daily lives

Metropolitan Zachariah Mar Nicholovos has appointed Reverend Deacon Anthonios (Roby) Antony as the director of Talmeedo Men’s Ministry until further orders.   Along with Semmassen, our Metropolitan has also appointed the following men to serve this ministry, until further orders:
