Family & Youth Conference Day 2 Highlights

The second day of FYC began with Malayalam and English prayers, followed by morning devotionals led by Rev. Fr. Adai Cor Episcopos (Malayalam) and Rev. Fr. Geevarghese (Bobby) Varghese (English). After breakfast, we heard beautiful songs from the melodious choir, followed by a general morning message delivered by Rev. Fr. Timothy (Tenny) Thomas. Then the participants transitioned into a time of acknowledgment and recognition for the Grand Sponsors for FYC. Afterward, everyone dispersed to partake in the various keynote addresses given by volunteers and clergy who talked about the theme of “The Way of the Pilgrim” tailored to specific life groups—Adults, FOCUS, MGOCSM, Middle School, Elementary School, and Pre-K—allowing attendees to engage in age-appropriate spiritual discussions.

Following noon prayer and lunch, everyone was able to participate in various fun-filled fellowship activities, one highlight being the sports day events. This included yoga/meditation, volleyball, basketball, candy picking for our young kids, and much more! The evening included dinner, evening and compline prayers in both Malayalam and English, and evening devotionals by Rev. Fr. Alex Joy (Malayalam) and Rev. Fr. Daniel (Dennis) Mathai (English). After the devotionals, we had the much-anticipated souvenir release, and the day concluded joyfully with an entertainment night filled with talent and fellowship!
