With faith in Christ and in the hope of resurrection we share the sad news that the Reverend Father A. K. Cherian, fell asleep in the Lord on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
A. K. Cherian Achen had served faithfully as the Vicar of St. Mary's Orthodox Church, Bronx, New York for several decades for the American Diocese and now Northeast American Diocese.
Let us keep our departed Achen in our prayers, especially his son Reverend Father Paul Cherian, his grieving family, and the members of St. Mary's Orthodox Church, Bronx, New York
May the memory of Reverend Father A. K. Cherian be eternal! Go in Peace, O Priest of God!
