His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon, Primate of the Orthodox Church in America, has reappointed Metropolitan Zachariah Mar Nicholovos to be a member of the Board of Trustees to St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary, New York.
This appointment reflects the Seminary's ongoing commitment to supporting its mission to educate and prepare Orthodox Christian clergy, scholars, and leaders of both the Oriental Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox Churches.
Metropolitan Mar Nicholovos continues in providing exceptional dedication to advancing Orthodox Christian education, spiritual formation, and community outreach in his current role as a member of the Board of Trustees at St. Vladimir's.
St. Vladimir’s Seminary, founded in 1938, is a premier Orthodox Christian seminary that offers graduate-level theological education rooted in the rich traditions of the Eastern Orthodox Church. The Seminary's Board of Trustees plays a vital role in ensuring that the institution remains at the forefront of Orthodox theological education, research, and ministry. St. Vladimir’s Seminary has pastorally, and theologically formed countless deacons, priests, bishops and patriarchs of the Orthodox Church, including a significant number from the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church.
