The MGOCSM of the Northeast American Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church is pleased to announce The VINE Mentorship Conference, a one-day gathering designed to inspire, equip, and connect college students as they grow spiritually, academically, and professionally.
The conference will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Orthodox Church, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Centered on the theme "Rooted in Christ" (John 15:5), the conference seeks to encourage students to remain firmly grounded
in their Orthodox Christian faith while discerning God's calling in every aspect of their lives.
Through a dynamic day of mentorship, professional development, and vocational discernment, participants will have the opportunity to engage with experienced Orthodox Christian mentors and professionals from various fields. Interactive sessions will provide practical guidance on navigating college life, building meaningful relationships, pursuing career aspirations, and integrating faith into daily life and future vocations.
The VINE Mentorship Conference reflects the MGOCSM's continuing commitment to investing in the spiritual formation and leadership development of college students throughout the Northeast American Diocese. By fostering meaningful mentorship and authentic Christian fellowship, the conference aims to strengthen students as they prepare to become faithful witnesses of Christ within the Church, their professions, and society.
