The Northeast American Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church has great joy in receiving our Father in Christ, His Holiness Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Mathews III. The first Apostolic Visit of the new Primate of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church to our Diocese will be from September 22 to October 2, 2022.
To mark the first Apostolic Visit to our Diocese since His Holiness' enthronement in October 2021, the Northeast American Diocese will be hosting a grand reception in honor of the Catholicos of the East on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Saint Thomas Orthodox Church of Levittown, New York, beginning at 4PM. The clergy and faithful of the Diocese will receive His Holiness in a colorful procession on the afternoon of September 25th, followed by Vespers and a felicitation meeting in honor of the new Catholicos of the East.
